I’ve been in the hairdressing industry for many years, and there are 5 things I hate about it. And if you’ve been in the industry any time at all I guarantee they’ll be the same things that p you off, and yet most salon owners don’t do anything about changing them. I know because I’ve heard it many times from employees who’ve come from other salons, and this is what they say they hate:

Working long hours,
Not getting enough training or recognition for their work,

What do we want?

We are looking for a Part time senior stylist Sunday 10am - 6pm and Tuesday 10am -6.30

We have a part time position available for a Senior Stylist in our boutique Notting Hill salon in West London. 3 LADBROKE ROAD , NOTTING HILL .....W11 3PA, (only 1 MINUTE walk from the Notting Hill Tube exit ). We are specialists in Organic and Mineral colour and haircare and have a fast-growing and loyal customer base. We are looking for highly motivated person, who is inspired by their work and is inspiring to be around. We are at the leading edge of botanic and mineral haircare and operate an eco-sound salon. (Green salon of the year 2021 and 2023) We are looking for a person who wants to make a difference without compromising results. We are looking for a Part time senior stylist Sunday 10am - 6pm and Tuesday 10am -6.30 These are very busy times which would build a clientel quicky. We are a small team with only 3 stylists. We are looking for someone prepared to work on a commission-only basis with benefits.( basic salary for 3 months to get you going.) We know this does not appeal to everyone but if you are confident that you can sell yourself, we are confident we can sell you to our customers which we are averaging 10-12 new ones a week.

If any of this sounds like a path you would like to follow we always promote from within. Positions with us come up very rarely so this is a great opportunity. All our 3 stylists have been with us for 5 years and more ( Gleb for 13 years). We also have two receptionists and experienced shampoo assistants at all times during the week.

What do you need?

We require you to have a minimum of 6 years styling experience, cutting needs to be your strength, with colour experience a bonus, however full training will be given. Have excellent communication skills, fluent in English and a willingness to be retrained in our unique colouring techniques.
