Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Colourist with a strong background in colour correction, balayage, and highlights techniques. The ideal candidate will possess a L'Oréal Colour Specialist degree and demonstrate excellent customer service skills. As a Colourist at Blush + Blow, you will work closely with clients to understand their needs, provide expert advice, and deliver outstanding colour services that exceed expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Colour Services: Perform a wide range of hair colouring techniques, including balayage, highlights, and colour correction, ensuring high-quality results that align with client expectations.
- Client Consultation: Conduct thorough consultations with clients to determine their desired outcome, offering expert advice and suggestions to achieve the best possible result.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain in-depth knowledge of L'Oréal products and techniques, staying updated on the latest trends and innovations in hair colouring.
- Customer Service: Provide an exceptional client experience, building strong relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction at every stage of the service.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Creative Director, Siobhan Jones, and other team members to maintain the salon’s reputation for excellence in hair services.
- Continuous Learning: Participate in monthly training sessions with L'Oréal Professionnel Global Ambassador and our Creative Director, Siobhan Jones, to continuously improve your skills and stay ahead in the industry.
- Salon Standards: Uphold Blush + Blow's high standards of cleanliness, safety, and professionalism.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven experience as a Colourist, with a strong portfolio showcasing your expertise in colour correction, balayage, and highlights.
- Certification: L'Oréal Colour Specialist degree is required.
- Skills: Excellent customer service skills with the ability to listen to clients and deliver results that meet their expectations.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Passion: A genuine passion for hair colouring and a commitment to staying updated on the latest trends and techniques.
