Account Manager

Our client is a true professionally-dispensed medical-grade skincare brand looking for an account manager, to manage a defined territory with a focus on co-creating shared business plans that are aligned with customer objectives and that serve the strategic goals of the brand

Job Responsibilities

Territory Management:

  • Actively segment the defined account base with a focus on identifying opportunities for future growth
    within existing accounts aligned with the brand’s sales strategy.
  • Set individual objectives for customer interactions including visit frequency, remote event attendance
    and education consumption based upon defined segmentation criteria.
  • In a timely and accurate manner, record all customer activity aligned to plans within the AlumierMD CRM
    system.
  • Regularly report on growth and activity metrics to the Regional Manager, identifying opportunities for
    improved efficiency in territory management and best practice examples for the benefit of the wider
    team.
  • Monitor and analyse data trends across the account base on a monthly basis to create accurate future
    forecasts for territory performance and pipeline activities.
  • Build accurate sales forecasts at a customer level based on shared business plans.
Account Planning:
  • Identify customer needs and objectives through effective questioning to determine appropriate
    account plans.
  • Create shared business plans with accounts at all levels with a focus on 3, 6, and 12-month objectives
    for activities and revenue growth.
  • Identify key stakeholders and decision-makers within key accounts to build high-level relationships that
    focus on long-term retention for AlumierMD.
  • Accurately record all shared account plans within the AlumierMD CRM system.
  • Leverage market insight and consumer data to drive account planning activities, ensuring that
    customers are constantly engaged with the value of long-term planning.
  • Ensure the coordination of internal resources to service the needs of customer account plans. Including: Education, Marketing Assets & Campaigns, product supply etc.
  • Focus account plans on multiple engagements across the AlumierMD offering – maximising customer engagement with eCommerce, Education, and Marketing programmes.

Requirements

The candidate requirements for this position, 

  • Proven track record of individual Sales capability and achieving set KPI’s.
  • Demonstrable customer engagement skills.
  • Success in creating account development plans and account growth.
  • Experience working with a CRM system.
  • Demonstrable experience working with a proven Sales Methodology.
  • Understanding of the Aesthetics industry.
  • Use of MS Office applications and email.
  • Educated to degree level, scientific and business disciplines preferred.
  • Full, clean driving license.

  • Senior account management experience with high-level (business owner) contacts.
  • Is a thought leader and seen as an expert by both internal stakeholders and customers?
  • Ability to manage, analyse and control a sales pipeline.
  • Strong team player and stakeholder manager.
  • Is fearless but respectful when attempting to drive new ways of doing things
  • Proven track record of sales target achievement in a consultative manner. 
  • A successful track record in achieving results consistently.
  • Experience in building strong, long term and trusting relationships with senior customer contacts with
    high revenue contributions.
  • Experience progressing complex sales in a consultative manner.
  • Commercial knowledge of business & value, making decisions to support the needs of the business.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels, both written and verbal.
  • Experience of building personal and digital networks to nurture existing and new business
    relationships.
  • Resilience, tenacity, and desire to succeed.
  • Be able to multitask and possess excellent administrative management.
  • Positive, self-starting can-do attitude.
  • Calm under pressure.
  • Excellent personal presentation to represent the business in a professional manner
